AFFIQ (MALAYSIA) – FULL BIO

With a humble beginning 2007, Affiq was introduced to the basic technique of DJ-ing with scratching and beat juggling on various kind of music but soon to discover his interest in Electronic Dance Music. Little did he know that this interest will land him on the electronic dance music circuit in Malaysia.

Today, this young deck wizard has grown strength in strength with his mixing skills on the turntables fusing the sounds of trance and progressive in his mix set. With influences from producers such as Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery, Andy Moor, Ashley Wallbridge, Above & Beyond and Dash Berlin, his playlist is compiled of the latest hits in the genre of Trance, Vocal Trance and Tech Trance. He has also played numerous gigs in Kuala Lumpur.

Gaining popularity in the dance music circuit and with his ablity to command an armada of dance crowd, he was recently invited to an opening set for international DJ/Producer Niklas Harding from Denmark currently under Armin Van Buuren's Armada label, and with all these experiences, it is only a humble beginning for a greater DJ career.
